Alex Willcocks

Trust Manager.

Qualifications: ACG (Associate of The Chartered Governance Institute),   MSc Corporate Governance

I have over 15 years’ experience in the Guernsey Fiduciary Industry. Born and raised in Guernsey, I completed my education in 2007 and began a career in the Private Wealth Industry. Over the years I have worked for both international corporate firms and locally run family-owned businesses, similar to Cannon. This diversity enhanced my versatility, and I became a Manager in 2017.

I have gained valuable experience in the industry through a combination of my studies towards a master’s degree in Corporate Governance and a Professional Qualification in Governance, together with the administration and management of a diverse portfolios of Trust and Company client entities.

In my previous roles I managed large complex structures for clients and was heavily involved in substantial restructures, including historic tax reporting and remediation, disclosure requests and court applications. I hope to utilise and build on this experience at Cannon to assist our clients in establishing efficient and sophisticated structures suitable for multiple generations.

I joined Cannon as a Fiduciary Manager in April 2023 and manage a small and dedicated team, providing assistance where required, as well as managing my own varied portfolio of clients.

Away from the office I can usually be found at the gym - I am also a qualified Fitness Instructor and teach high intensity group fitness classes several times a week. When I’m not working, I enjoy socialising with family and friends and have a fondness for travel.
